For our March date night, after hearing rave reviews on TikTok, we decided to dine at Jolene—a hidden gem nestled in the heart of Stoke Newington.
With a daily-changing menu, every visit promises a unique culinary experience.
The menu, written only on a large feature blackboard, is handwritten and changed throughout the shift ensuring all dishes are fresh and seasonal.
One nice touch is the reservation name written in chalk on your table—a personal, thoughtful detail.
We dined at the bar meaning that we could talk to the attentive staff and hear more about the story behind the restaurant and menu.
